1969 - With the completion of Liberty #2, we recognized the market demand for excellence in this industry. We introduced the finest electrical systems in the industry which meet or exceed marine standards. 1979 - Liberty perfects the hot water heating system for coach interior. Known today as the Webasto system. This is the first step made in the industry to building an all-electric conversion, thus eliminating the need for propane gas. 1979 - Liberty Coach is the first conversion company to build an interior using a Prevost LeMirage XL Motorhome chassis.
1982 - Liberty introduces a modern laminate interior 1984 - Another Liberty first- Liberty engineers the Automatic Leveling System utilizing the chassis existing air bag suspension. 1984 - Generator Auto Start system is developed by Liberty Coach. Liberty owners feel that owning a coach with no propane is much safer but have concerns, when dry camping, about running the generator constantly. The Auto Start System automatically starts the generator when battery voltage drops and shuts the generator off when voltage levels are restored. This system has become an industry standard today. 1989 - Liberty becomes the first convertor to implement CAD/CAM technology. Every coach since coach number 153 has been built using this computer technology. We have presently built over 525 coaches. 1989 - Liberty, already been a leader in customer field support, debuts the Customer Support Transporter. The first convertor dedicated to servicing the customer base in the field, we raised customer expectations about the type of service they should be able to expect forcing others in the industry to follow suit.

of Vitricor cabinet material. The interior was done in the first

The market is swept up in the euphoria and Liberty sells 12 of this model at a cost just bumping the 1 million dollar mark. This takes Liberty Coach to a level no other company comes close to, nor chooses to approach. Liberty Coach in turn becomes the company of choice for those who desire more than any other company can offer.
